Swimsuits are worn anywhere there is water. Picking the right color can help save your child. Visibility in the water is imperative, making it easier for the lifeguards to spot children in an emergency. Bright colors stand out against pools or other bodies of water.
For swimming lessons, we recommend swimsuits that are easy to take on and off, comfortable, and made of stretchy materials like lycra/nylon or polyester blends. Proper suits can make a swimmer more efficient in the water. It will help them to swim faster in some cases.
Goggles are necessary to see in the water. They help them see where they are in the pool and keep chlorine out of their eyes.
Swim caps help swimmers keep their hair from slowing them down and getting wet. They can also be used to keep hair out of their faces. Swimmers with long hair should always be pulled back out of their faces so they can breathe.
Towels are important for helping swimmers dry off. Swim towels need to be super absorbent, quick drying, and large enough to cover from head to toe.
Parkas are large coat-type covers with an absorbent material lining used to keep the swimmer warm while wicking away the water from the suit.
